In the morning, we offer fresh fruit. At lunchtime, a warm homemade meal with fresh vegetables. And in the afternoon, a sandwich or cracker with veggies and dried fruit.

One of the things that makes the Peuterspeelbar extra special is… the bar! Yes, we have a bar with a kitchen, the perfect place for our parent community to gather and organize fun events.
Each month, we host a relaxed dinner and drinks evening where both parents and kids are welcome. A lovely way to connect and get to know each other better.

Our location? An absolute dream. Perched on a hill, surrounded by flower fields, with a view over nature. Here, outdoor play isn’t a bonus, it’s part of our daily rhythm.
We make mud soup, build huts, go on little hikes, and marvel at everything that grows and lives around us.

The Peuterspeelbar Silves is a Parent-Led Initiative in the Perfect Location. You’ll find us in a truly convenient spot, right between several international schools in the Silves region.
The Peuterspeelbar was born out of a strong desire from parents to create a safe and trusted environment for their little ones, with high-quality care and clear values. Rather than wait for long placement times at Portuguese daycare centers, this initiative offers a meaningful alternative: a small, social setting where children can play, grow, and thrive together.
The driving force behind the Peuterspeelbar is Sanne Everloo, a certified childcare professional with over 15 years of experience in Dutch early childhood education. She is joined by teacher Jessica, originally from Brazil, who gently introduces the children to Portuguese through playful daily interactions.
